Kelly Oubre will get platelet-rich plasma injections in his right knee that will keep him out of basketball activities for at least two weeks, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.
Oubre revealed during Tuesday’s end of season interviews that he underwent an MRI last week on his knee, but asked the team not to disclose the results until after playoffs ended.
The knee pain has affected Oubre for some time. He sat out a practice after Game 1 of the Wizards’ series with the Hawks with knee pain and said at the time the issue had been lingering from the regular season.
