The NBA announced Friday that Washington Wizards rookie Kelly Oubre Jr. has been fined $15,000 for making an obscene gesture with 0.3 seconds left in Wizards’ 102-99 win against the San Antonio Spurs on Nov. 4.
After Bradley Beal hit the game-winning shot against the Spurs, Oubre, who was standing along the baseline, placed his hand in his groin area for an extended period of time to celebrate the made shot. Hence, the fine.
The 19-year-old rookie has played one minute this season. He has not scored.
