The Wizards will bring in two players for workouts on Thursday, June 13. They are Keldon Johnson, a freshman forward from Kentucky and Cameron Lard, a redshirt sophomore forward from Iowa State.
Johnson is the most notable player in the group. He averaged 13.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in his lone season for the Wildcats where they advanced to the Elite Eight. Johnson is a decent scorer where he made 46.1 percent of his shots from the field and 38.1 percent of his threes. Johnson is projected to be drafted in the first round, but he’s projected to fall past the lottery according to most sources, including NBC Sports Washington.
