Wizards point guard John Wall was set to miss the rest of this season with a heel injury. That’s bad enough. However, Wall will now likely miss the majority of 2019-20 season with a ruptured left Achilles tendon.
According to team reporter Zachary Rosen, Wall’s Achilles needed to be repaired after he recently slipped and fell in his home. His previous heel injury developed an infection from an earlier surgery on Jan. 8. He will get surgery in Green Bay, Wisc., performed by Dr. Robert Anderson. His recovery time will be 12 months.
