Washington Wizards guard John Wall is contemplating undergoing surgery on his left heel, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported Saturday.
According to Charania, Wall would be out for six to eight months if he chooses to have the procedure.
Charania added that Wall "tried to battle through the pain in his injured heel" to get the Wizards' season back on track before determining he had to step away from the court and evaluate his options.
The point guard missed time in December because of soreness in his heel.
