Jeff Green was one of the Wizards players who had a strong individual performance in an otherwise bad 2018-19 season. He averaged 12.3 points and 4 rebounds per game in the 2018-19 season while playing in 77 games. Green also made the most three-pointers in a full season (111) since the 2013-14 season when he made 135 threes for the Boston Celtics.
In an interview with Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington, Green said “I would love to come back. Great set of guys on this team.” Green also noted that he liked having a chance to play in front of his family more often than in the past where he has played for seven different NBA teams in his career and hasn’t spent more than a year with any team since 2015.
