Washington Wizards guard Isaiah Thomas was suspended two games by the NBA for entering the stands during the fourth quarter of their loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.
In Philadelphia, if an opposing player misses two consecutive free throws in the third or fourth quarter, the crowd gets a free Frosty from Wendy’s, which they call the Frosty Freeze-Out. It’s their rough equivalent of the free Chick-Fil-A sandwich offer during Wizards and Mystics games.
Thomas missed one free throw and then made the second one, prompting boos from the crowd.
