Washington Wizards center Ian Mahinmi has had a rough tenure in the nation’s capital since he arrived in 2016. He’s often a punching line due to his four-year $64 million contract. After all, he hasn’t played much due to various injuries. And when he is available, Mahinmi is often too foul-prone to be effective.
On Wednesday, the Wizards listed Mahinmi as questionable before their game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
With Thomas Bryant out for the next three weeks due to a foot injury, it’s imperative that the Wizards beef up their center rotation — even if they have to sign a free agent somewhere.
