The Wizards’ No. 1 choice for their general manager vacancy won’t be joining them.
Denver Nuggets president of basketball operations Tim Connelly turned down an offer to join the Wizards, ESPN reported Monday. Washington had offered Connelly, a Baltimore native with strong roots to Wizards, the job on Friday.
