In this series, we’re introducing you to the noteworthy members of the Capital City Go-Go, the Wizards’ G League affiliate. Next up, is Ruben “RJ” Nembhard Jr. Nembhard is a 6-4 combo guard that graduated from Texas Christian University after the 2020-2021 college basketball season.

He went undrafted and has been mostly playing in the G League and overseas ever since. During the 2021-2022 NBA season, he played in 14 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers but only played 63 total minutes.

This season, he has started 7 of 8 games for the Capital City Go-Go and is averaging 17.
