Emma Meesseman explains the fun and adventure playing in the 2020 WNBA season

When you think of the word “fun”, it’s hard to visualize especially with everything going on such as COVID-19 surging in the United Staqtes and restricting most of our normal activities. It’s even hard to imagine how the Washington Mystics managed to go from serious highs to unexpected lows.

Last year the Mystics were crowned WNBA Champions. And this year, the pandemic forces them out of having a championship parade, a private ring ceremony in Loudoun County instead of at the Entertainments and Sports Arena in Congress Heights. And as of yet, there is no raising of the 2019 championship banner.
