On Tuesday afternoon, the WNBA announced the starters for the 2017 WNBA All-Star Game, and as expected, the East roster will feature Elena Delle Donne, who is making her fourth straight appearance.
Delle Donne received more fan votes than any other player in Eastern Conference, finishing only behind Maya Moore of the Minnesota Lynx. Fan voting accounts for 50 percent of the vote to determine All-Star starters. The other half is shared between current players and WNBA media.
This is the first time the Mystics have had a starter in the All-Star Game since 2010, when Lindsey Harding, Monique Currie, and Crystal Langhorne were selected in a year where the WNBA went with a USA basketball vs.
