On Sunday, the WNBA announced that Washington Mystics forward Elena Delle Donne was named to the 2019 All-WNBA First Team. As this year’s Most Valuable Player, this is no surprise. It should also be no surprise that Delle Donne was a unanimous First Team selection.
This is also the fourth time that Delle Donne was named to the All-WNBA First Team and the fifth time she earned an All-WNBA team honor overall.
The other players to make the First Team this season were Chicago Sky guard Courtney Vandersloot, Los Angeles Sparks guard Chelsea Gray, Seattle Storm forward Natasha Howard and Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner.
