After finishing the 2018 WNBA season by winning eight of their last nine games, Elena Delle Donne won her second Eastern Conference Player of the Month award for her performance in August.
This month, Delle Donne averaged 20 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while scoring at least 30 points twice. The Mystics also earned their second 20-win season in franchise history and tied the same mark of the 2010 team.
