For the first time, DMV native Markelle Fultz allowed cameras inside his life in a special feature for Closeup360.com to capture his love for the game and connection to Hyattsville, MD, his hometown.
Fultz always knew in his mind through high school and college that giving back was a priority especially giving back in his area. He remembered seeing pro athletes now who went to the same high school (DeMatha) as him such as Victor Oladipo, who came back as guest speakers. What crossed Fultz’s mind the most was understanding how when he was a kid these opportunities with pro athletes at a camp weren’t regular.
