Kara Lawson, a former Washington Mystics point guard and television analyst for the Wizards, has joined the Boston Celtics as an assistant coach, ESPN reported.

An Alexandria, Virginia, native, Lawson was serving as a Wizards analyst for NBC Sports Washington as well as a commentator for ESPN’s WNBA coverage.
