Wizards' Bradley Beal: "We lost games in a variety of ways: turnovers, rebounds, 50/50 balls, defensive stops, scoring late in games. ... We haven't been knocked out of the first round [before], I'm a little bothered by that. We're a better team than that." pic.twitter.com/xMdA6SuCaD
— Ben Golliver (@BenGolliver) April 28, 2018Bradley Beal had a strong 2017-18 season for the Wizards. He averaged a career-high 22.6 points and 4.5 assists per game which led to his first appearance in the NBA All-Star Game.
But ultimately, the Wizards themselves had a disappointing 2017-18 season where they lost to the Toronto Raptors in the first round.
