The Washington Wizards and swingman Bradley Beal are reportedly moving swiftly toward a verbal agreement on a new long-term contract that would keep the restricted free agent in the nation's capital for years to come.
According to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski, Beal and the Wizards are "nearing" an agreement on a five-year deal worth $128 million.
ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported the sides could come to a verbal agreement sometime Friday morning.
