No Date Set for Anderson's Return
The Wizards announced Tuesday persistent pain in Anderson's ankle necessitated a surgical procedure, which Dr. David Porter completed earlier in the day. The statement added "Anderson will begin the rehab process immediately," although there's no timetable for his return.
This is the second surgery on Anderson's left ankle in five months. In May, doctors removed bone spurs from the ankle, and he was expected to get back to practice shape by July.
