The 2020 NBA All-Star rosters have been announced, and the Rising Stars have been chosen. For Washington Wizards fans, the news didn’t come without a few snubs.
The obvious one was Bradley Beal. Despite putting up some gaudy numbers this season that rank him second in scoring amongst Eastern Conference guards, Beal was not selected by the NBA coaches as an All-Star reserve. Just a week before being slighted by the coaches, Beal received the second most votes from the players among Eastern Conference guards. Unless Beal somehow sneaks into the All-Star Game as an injury replacement, he’ll be one of the first players since 1984-85 to average over 28 points per game and miss the All-Star Game.
