Draft week is here and the first-round talent is finally starting to trickle into Washington’s pre-draft workouts. Tomorrow, the Washington Wizards are reported to be hosting USC product Kevin Porter Jr. according to Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington.
Porter may be coming out of college a year early depending on who you ask. He’d almost certainly be a top-ten pick if he spent another season as a Trojan and refined his game just a bit. But he’ll hear his name called somewhere in the first-round, regardless.
Whether or not it will be the Wizards calling his name is still yet to be determined, but it’s not likely that he’ll be Washington’s top target at #9.
