Bradley Beal is headed to the NBA All-Star Game for the first time in his NBA career and the Three Point Contest for the second time, according to Candace Buckner of the Washington Post.
He earned his All-Star selection by posting career-best numbers for points, rebounds, and assists per game and thanks to scoring a career-high 51 points earlier in the season against the Blazers in Portland.
Oddly enough, he was selected to the Three Point Contest even though he’s shooting career-lows from beyond the arc. He’s shooting just 36.8 percent from deep after averaging at least 38 percent in each of his first five seasons.
