The Washington Wizards broke out of their five-game slump with a dominant 114-77 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday, something they desperately needed.
Despite the win, the Wizards aren't celebrating.
“At the end of the day, it’s Brooklyn," center Marcin Gortat said. "We can’t get too excited.”
The victory pushed Washington back into third place in the Eastern Conference after the losing streak had dropped them to fourth.
The Wizards will try to start a winning streak on Monday, when they host the Orlando Magic.
