Washington Wizards point guard John Wall was undoubtedly one of the premier players in all of the NBA this offseason, which makes his omission from the league's three All-NBA team a real head scratcher.
Wall responded to the snub via Twitter on Thursday with a very simple message:
More Motivation...Keep Sleeping !!
— John Wall (@JohnWall) May 21, 2015
Stephen Curry and James Harden were the two guards selected on the first team, to no one's surprise. The guards on the second team are Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul, followed by Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson on the third team.
While all six of the aforementioned guards are worthwhile picks, omitting a guy who matched his defensive prowess with a 17.6-point, 10-assist double-double average this season is enough to raise the eyebrows of many NBA fans, not just members of the Wizards' faithful.
