When you bring a new quarterback recruit in as Mike Leach does every year you build lots of depth, but sometimes that leads to difficulty securing more quarterback recruits. The two main candidates who are considering the Cougars as of now appear to be Rancho Cucamonga pro style passer CJ Stroud and Salinas signal caller Carl Richardson.
