Calvin Green was arrested on Sunday morning and charged with hit-and-run, reckless endangerment and not having a valid license.

Washington State student newspaper The Daily Evergreen first reported the news of Green’s arrest on Monday night.

Green, a sophomore last season, switched from wide receiver to defensive back near the end of fall camp. He played both safety and nickelback for the Cougars, primarily as a backup, although he did start at nickel against Oregon. Green made seven tackles while playing in nine total games.

Stefanie Loh of the Seattle Times spoke to Pullman Police spokesman Commander Chris Tennant, who said that Green backed a silver Ford Focus into a white Dodge Neon at approximately 1:55 a.
