Wide receiver Vince Mayle became the second Washington State player in as many days to be drafted by Cleveland, going 123rd overall in the fourth round of the NFL Draft to the Browns on Saturday.
Mayle joins defensive end Xavier Cooper, who was taken 96th overall in the third round on Friday by the Browns. The two Cougars aren't the only players with Washington ties to go to Cleveland, either -- the Browns' top pick was University of Washington defensive tackle Danny Shelton, selected 12th overall in Thursday's first round.
Mayle was the top target of quarterbacks Connor Halliday and Luke Falk in WSU's air-raid offense in 2014, hauling in 106 catches for 1,483 yards and nine touchdowns as a fifth-year senior.
