WSU Women's Soccer improves to 2-0

With classes starting Monday in Pullman the Cougar Women's soccer team looked to start the school year off with a win against a rival and to continue their early success. And they did so in front of 1,232 people, the third largest crowd in WSU history.

First year coach Todd Shulenberger looked to continue his winning ways on Sunday against the Idaho Vandals but the game had to be postponed until Monday evening due to air quality.

The Cougars struck early and never looked back after a own-goal header that found the back of the net after just 9 minutes of play.
