For the fifth straight season, Washington State's women's soccer team has been selected to play in the NCAA Tournament. The Cougars will host Northwestern on Saturday in Pullman.
WSU finished the season 14-5 including a 7-4 record in Pac-12 play. That was good enough to finish third in the conference and earn the Cougars a home game in the tournament. Should the Cougars win, they would advance to play either West Virginia or Duquesne, with a potential matchup against California possible later on.
The Cougars haven't had a ton of success in the tournament over the last four years, compiling a 1-4 record.
