PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State volleyball team (3-0) hit a season-high .394 in the 25-17, 25-21, 25-18 win over the University of Incarnate Word Thursday afternoon in the second match of the Cougar Challenge Tournament at Bohler Gym.
Junior Ella Lajos led the Cougs with 10 kills, a season-high .571 hitting percentage and six blocks. Junior McKenna Woodford chipped in nine kills with no errors in 15 attacks for a .600 hitting percentage. Sophomore Ashley Brown and freshman Penny Tusa combined for 26 assists.
