PULLMAN, Wash. -- In spite of McKenna Woodford and Kyra Holt’s double-doubles, the Washington State volleyball team (14-9 overall, 3-8 Pac-12) was not able to get its offensive production in high gear Friday night, falling in four sets to No. 8 UCLA (18-3, 9-2) in Bohler Gym. Set scores were 25-13, 25-20, 23-25, and 25-16.
Woodford, a freshman from Chandler, Ariz., had 13 kills and 10 digs while junior Kyra Holt (Hercules, Calif.) tallied 11 kills and 17 digs. Hailey Bethune add 10 kills and led the Cougars with three blocks. Haley MacDonald set up 40 assists and Kate Sommer led WSU with 18 digs.
