PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University women’s basketball (14-15, 5-13) will be the No. 9 seed in the 2016 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament and will take on No. 8 USC (18-11, 6-11), Thursday, March 3 at 6 p.m. at KeyArena at Seattle, Wash.
Washington State and USC split their regular season series, with both teams winning at home. The Cougars beat the Trojans 73-61 in Pullman, Jan. 15, but fell to the Women of Troy, 64-62, in Los Angeles, Feb. 14. The two sides have previously met three times in the conference tournament. The Trojans own a 2-1 advantage, but WSU won the most recent tournament meeting between the teams.
