WSU Ties For Second at Cougar Cup

The Cougars tied for second place with Cal State Fullerton.

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State women's golf team tied for second at the WSU Cougar Cup with a total score of 868 (+4) at Palouse Ridge Golf Club, Tuesday, in a field of 10 teams.

The Cougars finished four strokes behind first-place finisher Idaho (E, 864). As a team, Idaho broke the Palouse Ridge collegiate women's records for lowest single-round score (-7, 281) and lowest three-round score (864, E).

WSU tied with Cal State Fullerton (+4, 868) to round out the top three. Cal State Fullerton's Martina Edberg broke the Palouse Ridge collegiate women's records for lowest third-round score (-6, 66), and lowest three-round score (-10, 206).
