PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State Cougar soccer team (7-5-6) defeated Oregon State, 1-0, Wednesday night at Lower Soccer Field on the WSU campus. The Cougars scored in the 36th minute when senior scored the game-winning goal, keeping Wazzu unbeaten at home this fall.
After a slow start in the first 10 minutes, the Cougars found a rhythm, connecting passes through the midfield and mixing up the speed and point of attack into the Beavers' defensive area. Duckett's scored her second goal at WSU after involving herself in the buildup to the play through the midfield.
