In early December, Washington State women’s soccer played in their first ever College Cup national semifinal. In mid-December, the Cougs signed the top ranked forward in the class of 2020 in Trinity Rodman. And on Tuesday, the good news just kept rolling in for head coach Todd Schulenberger.
The team announced Tuesday that Texas Tech transfer Marissa Zucchetto will join WSU for the 2020 season. The goalkeeper out of Mississauga, Ontario played three seasons with the Red Raiders and will have one year of eligibility to use with Washington State.
In 2018, Zuccheto led the nation with 14 shutouts, including two in the postseason, helping to lead Texas Tech into the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
