Three Cougars represented their countries at World Rowing Cup II.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Three former Washington State rowers recently represented their respective countries at World Rowing Cup II in Poznan, Poland, while rising-senior Ivy Elling Quaintance was named to the Canadian Under 23 World Championship team.
Nicole Hare teamed up with Madison Mailey, Susanne Grainger, Jennifer Martins, Avalon Wasteneys, Kasia Gruchalla-Wesierski, Hillary Janssens, Rebecca Zimmerman and Kristen Kit in the Canadian Women's Eight. Hare's crew advanced to the A Final, finishing sixth with a time of 6:38.980. Australia captured gold, followed by the United States and Great Britain.
