With the 2017 NFL Draft in the rearview mirror, draftniks are already looking toward 2018.
So far, the 2018 draft is shaping up to be deep in quality quarterbacks, and WSU’s Luke Falk is among that group. While he’s not being talked about as the No. 1 overall pick — that distinction goes to USC’s Sam Darnold — Falk’s name is a being bandied about as a mid-to-late first round selection.
USA Today has him going No. 18 overall to the Arizona Cardinals (where he would join WSU’s last first round draft selection, Deone Bucannon, in the desert), CBS Sports’ Will Brinson also sees Falk as the heir apparent to Carson Palmer in Arizona.
