Cougar signal-caller Anthony Gordon has been named to the Reece’s Senior Bowl roster becoming the third straight WSU quarterback to do so. Following in the footsteps of Jacksonville starter Gardner Minshew and New York Jet backup Luke Falk, Gordon has been named to the premier all-star game of collegiate senior draft prospects. Not only that but you could make an argument that every WSU quarterback in the Leach era had some level of pro experience with Jeff Tuel getting some run with Buffalo and Conor Halliday retiring before getting the chance to show off his cannon arm. It’s good to see WSU getting back to the roots of the Thompson/Rosenbach/Bledsoe/Leaf legacy.
