WSU golfer Alivia Brown in final of Pacific Northwest Women’s Amateur

Alivia Brown, a sophomore on the Washington State women’s golf team and a Gig Harbor native, and Brooke Hamilton of Auckland, New Zealand, will meet in the final match Saturday of the 114th Pacific Northwest Women’s Amateur.

In tomorrow’s final match of the 14th Pacific Northwest Women’s Mid-Amateur, Amanda Jacobs of Seattle will attempt to defend her title against No. 1 seed Lani Elston of Milwaukie, Ore.

Saturday’s final match in the Women’s Amateur will begin at 7:30 a.m., and will be contested over 36 holes. The Women’s Mid-Amateur final match will begin at 7:45 a.m., and will be contested over 18 holes.
