Washington State wrapped up a productive recruiting week Friday, when Hazen Senior High’s Joe Tryon became the fourth recruit to commit to the Cougars this week.
Tryon, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound defensive end, announced his commitment to WSU via Twitter Friday afternoon. Tryon took an unofficial visit to WSU in late July and also attended both UW and WSU’s football camps this summer.
Tryon merited MVP honors at the Northwest Elite football camp over the summer. He picked WSU over an offer from Eastern Washington, whom the Cougars will face in their season opener on Sept.
