The Washington State Cougars’ 2018 recruiting class is shaping up to be the best yet under Mike Leach, and with the early signing day in the books, the Cougs currently are sitting around the top 40 nationally.
It’s headlined by Cammon Cooper, a quarterback rated four stars in the 247Sports composite who was selected as one of the “Elite 11” quarterback recruits in the country over the summer.
Right up there with him is Rodrick Fisher, a four-star receiver out of Spokane whose story is remarkably similar to “The Blindside.”
And, as usual, it’s got some big-bodied offensive linemen who have room to add weight; long, rangy outside receivers; an explosive multi-purpose running back; and speed to burn on defense.
