WSU coaches are hitting the recruiting trail hard this offseason and finally got a commit from the friendly confines of the Evergreen State. Federal Way quarterback D'jimon Jones committed to Washington State on Thursday. Jones was actually the first person to report it.
Jones is listed as a dual threat quarterback and three-stars by Rivals while Scout lists him as an athlete and a two-star recruit. Jones is quite an athlete, playing on both sides of the ball for Federal Way at quarterback and cornerback. Depending on needs on the offensive and defensive side of the ball, I'd probably expect Jones to play either wide receiver or corner.
