The Washington State Cougars and coach Mike Leach are looking to build on not just the most wins in a season in school history but also the best sustained run in program history as they put together their 2020 recruiting class.
The Cougs won 11 games in 2019 and have now piled up 37 wins in the past four seasons — most ever in a four-year stretch. Maybe it will translate into greater success with the rankings on the recruiting trail. Or maybe the Cougs just keep doing what they’ve had so much success doing: Landing players who are an excellent fit for both Leach’s Air Raid and Tracy Claeys’ version of Speed D.
