GOLD RIVER, Calif. – For the second-straight year, No. 13 Washington State University rowing finished in the top-four of the conference as it placed fourth at the 2016 Pac-12 Rowing Championships, Sunday, under good conditions at Lake Natoma near Sacramento, Calif.
No. 2 California won its second-straight Pac-12 title, its eighth in the last nine years and its 11th since 2004. The Golden Bears held off rival Stanford for the varsity eight victory by less than a second to sweep the top-three events, varsity eight, second varsity and varsity four, to collect a total of 45 points.
