ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Washington State men's golf team placed 11th after shooting 12-over par (300) in the final round at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, Saturday, at New Mexico's Championship Golf Club.
San Diego State won the tournament with a three-round score of 1-under par (863). The Cougars (+36, 900), finished behind Colorado State (+9, 873) in second and BYU (+14, 878) in third. In-state rival Washington finished in fourth (+15, 879).
Junior Derek Bayley led the Cougars with a top-25 finish, tying for 22nd place, 12 strokes behind winner Blake Cannon (-6, 210) of Colorado State.
