There’s nothing like a winning season to get the fan base re-energized and accelerate ticket sales.
It’s been a busy offseason for the Washington State Athletic Department’s ticket office because football ticket sales have been trending upward ever since the Cougs beat Miami in the Sun Bowl last December to finish 9-4 and notch their best record in more than a decade.
As of Thursday morning, only 874 tickets remain for Washington State’s season opening contest against Eastern Washington at Martin Stadium this Saturday.
