The Washington State women’s basketball team made history again on Sunday when the Cougars were selected to their second consecutive NCAA tournament.
The Cougars have never before appeared in back-to-back tournaments, and this time around, the Cougars — who finished the regular season 19-10 and 11-6 in the Pac-12, good for second in the conference — are an 8 seed and will face ninth-seeded Kansas State in the first round on Saturday in Raleigh, North Carolina. They are located in the Bridgeport region.
If the Cougars should win — which would be yet another first for the program — they would advance to likely face No.
