Washington State running back Jamal Morrow has been the Cougars’ sole game captain for the last 18 games. In 18 games, he’s called the coin toss eight times, and he has a 7-1 record overall. The Cougars also have a 14-4 record in games that they’ve started with Morrow at midfield representing the team as captain.
That’s all pretty good.
As Mike Leach explained, he picked Morrow to be game captain in part because he found out that Morrow had been on long-running game show “The Price is Right” before his freshman season at WSU.
The enterprising reporters at KREM in Spokane, Evan Klosky and Darnay Tripp, went out and found video footage of Morrow’s appearance on the game show, and put together this entertaining package.
