Washington State is up to No. 20 in both the Associated Press and Amway Coaches top 25 polls after the Cougars beat Colorado 27-3 on Saturday night. WSU was No. 24 in the AP Poll and No. 23 in the Coaches Poll last week. This No. 20 ranking is still the highest the Cougars have managed since 2003, when they finished the season ranked No. 9 after beating No. 5 Texas in the Holiday Bowl.
The Cougars finished 10-3 that season, and are on pace to match that record if they beat the Huskies in the Apple Cup on Friday and notch a win in a bowl game.
