Washington State will come out of the Martin Stadium tunnel on Saturday set out for redemption. Two weeks ago the Cougars opened the season with a disappointing loss to Portland State. Now after a thrilling win at Rutgers, the Cougars have a chance to get their first win this season in Pullman and improve to 2-1.
The game against Rutgers showed WSU has some things going for them. The wideouts made plays, the defense forced three turnovers, and Luke Falk was brilliant down the stretch. The road win also showed that WSU has some areas to work on like special teams.
